EarlyWorks Children's History Museum, a hands-on facility, focuses on Alabama’s early history and features interactive exhibits on musical instruments and architecture. Geared mainly toward children, the museum gives the opportunity to hear stories from a talking tree or explore a 46-foot river keelboat. It is located two blocks northeast of Big Spring Park.
