While I have heard that Peggy's Log Cabin does beautiful work, their customer service leaves something to be desired. As a result, I will be taking my business elsewhere. I scheduled a wedding consultation, and I arrived to discover that the person I was meeting with was not there. I still met with another person on staff, and decided that I would most likely use their services based on that meeting. I called the person back that I was supposed to meet with originally for additional information, and she asked that I call back a month later because she had some conflicting personal issues. I still gave them the benefit of the doubt based on my initial consultation. I called as requested to remind them that I was interested in working with them for my wedding and to set up another time to make a deposit and create a contract. I was harshly reminded that it was Mother's Day and they were too busy to meet at that time (despite the fact that it was two days before Mother's Day and I was only making a brief courtesy call--NOT to set up a meeting for that particular day). I am highly influenced by customer service, and it makes me nervous to work with someone on such a special event. I am dissapointed that I have wasted valuable time waiting to meet with Peggy's Log Cabin. I hope this review is helpful!

Customer Service has long since been a strong consideration and first priority at Peggy's Log Cabin. My mother , Peggy, based the foundations of the business on that, and it remains in tact today. I wish to thank the customer for taking the time to to reply and apologize for any misunderstandings. Unfortunatly our business is very holiday oriented and we are very busy for 10 days prior to Mother's Day and 10 days after. Because of this , I do not schedule wedding consultations or discussions during this time. Everyone deserves good customer care and I am sure that I asked if this could wait til later, since the wedding was at a later date. Personal family fires and issues of the like I have no control over. It is sincerly our goal at Peggy's Log Cabin to treat all customers with kindness , care and good customer service.
